Role description:

We are looking for 2 legal experts to join the legal team.

Cuora is searching for collaborators with a strong proactive attitude, who want to join a community of motivated people and who are committed to protecting the work of her/his colleagues and of the association itself to enable it to improve its impact.

In this role you will work in a team that will be responsible for both drafting and supervising contracts and reviewing all legal acts issued by the association.

Communication:

You will constantly collaborate with the Head of Finance and Legal to enhance the legal division and update the executive board of the association about all the relevant matters. You will also collaborate with a team of experts to fulfil all your duties.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Drafting and verifying contracts for relations with third parties (companies, consultants and partners);
• Implementation of key legal processes that relate to legal drafting, negotiations, and commercial settlement agreements;
• Be updated and ensure that the association complies with the main tax guidelines;
• Ensuring that all allegations of legal misconduct are reported in a timely manner to the executive team in an attempt to maintain integrity within the association;
• Ensuring that financial policies and procedures are in compliance with all the applicable laws, rules and guidelines;
• Managing and monitoring the legal risk of the association;
• Keeping the executive leadership informed of new or changing laws that may affect or relate to their operations and industry;
• Educating the other associates and board members on legal matters, overseeing hiring practices, and litigating on behalf of the association.

Qualifications and skills:

• Attending a university degree in Law;
• Fluent in English;
• Knowledge of privacy policies at the national and international level;
• Professional written and verbal communication skills;
